This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used on nuviomm.com, operated by Tarik Zukic in Washington State, United States. It applies to this website. The Nuvio app has separate advertising and purchase controls described in the Privacy Policy.

1. What we use

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser without automatically sending them with every request. This website uses local storage for consent and, if you allow it, language preferences. Optional Google Analytics uses first-party cookies after you opt in.

2. Your choices

Optional features are off by default. The first-visit banner offers Reject optional, Customize, and Accept optional. Customization separates remembering your language from website analytics. Essential consent storage stays on because it records and applies your privacy choices. Choosing Reject optional does not prevent you from reading the website, downloading the app, or contacting support.

The compact Privacy choices button and the footer control reopen these settings on every page. You can turn analytics off after allowing it. We then stop website analytics, remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies, and reload the current page to stop already-loaded analytics code. Withdrawal affects future collection; it does not automatically delete data already received by Google.

3. Storage inventory and duration

The old nuvio_language key is retired and removed by the current website. Storage names beginning with an underscore in this table refer to Google's cookies, not additional advertising services.

4. Optional analytics and third parties

When you allow analytics, the website loads Google Analytics to measure page visits and interactions, including clicks to download Nuvio. Google receives technical information such as browser and device information, page and referrer details, event data, online identifiers, and connection information including your IP address. Processing may occur outside your country. See Google's Privacy Policy, information about partner sites, and Google Analytics cookie information.

We block the Google Analytics script before opt-in rather than loading it in a cookieless measurement mode. Google advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are not enabled by this website's consent integration. There is no website advertising-tracking toggle because the website does not load an advertising SDK. These settings do not control ads inside the Nuvio app.

5. Language, privacy signals, and browser controls

Automatic language selection uses your browser's primary language, then other supported browser languages, with English as a fallback. We do not contact an IP-location service to select a language. Manual selection works immediately. Saving that choice across pages requires the Remember my language option.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track value of 1, this website keeps analytics off, including when a previous analytics choice was enabled. The settings explain when a browser privacy signal is active. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies and local storage. Clearing consent storage causes the banner to reappear. If storage is blocked, choices apply in memory to the current page and may need to be made again.

6. Other website requests

GitHub Pages hosts the website and processes connection information needed to serve pages and assets. Fonts and app artwork are hosted with the website. Clicking external links takes you to services such as the App Store, which apply their own policies. Submitting the support form sends your supplied details and any attachments through Discord; it is not controlled by the analytics toggle. Merely selecting an attachment creates a local preview and does not upload it. These activities are explained in the Privacy Policy.

7. Policy changes and contact

We update this policy when website storage or its purposes change. Material changes to the consent categories require a new consent version before previously saved choices are reused.
